Patient Participation Group (PPG)

Would you like to have your say about the services provided at Broom Road Medical Practice?
The Surgery have set up a patient participation group, so why not come along to discuss your ideas and hear about planned changes?
The purpose of this group is patient working with the surgery to:
- Provide a channel of communication between practice staff and patients to break down barriers to communication and enable sharing of information
- Help themselves and other patients to take more responsibility for their health
- Provide practical support to the surgery
- Contribute to continuous improvement of services determined by the needs of the community
If you are able to offer your time and would like to come along to the meeting, or if you have any queries about the Patient Participation group, then please register your interest at reception today.
The meeting will take place at Broom Road Medical Practice. A time and date will be arranged every four month.
Using the PPG, GP practices are encouraged to promote the proactive engagement of patients and to seek views from practice patients through the use of local practice surveys. The outcomes of the engagement and the views of patients are published below if this practice has a PPG.
